2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello – Manual

One of just 69 RHD Manual Ferrari 575M Maranellos - fitted with Fiorano Handling Pack and recent major cambelt service.

The Ferrari 575M Maranello represents a particularly significant chapter in Ferrari’s modern history. Introduced in 2002 as the evolution of the much-loved 550 Maranello, the 575M refined the front-engined V12 formula with increased power, subtle chassis improvements and a more contemporary interior, while preserving the elegance and usability that defined Ferrari’s flagship GT.

At its heart sits a 5.7 litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 508 bhp and 588 Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels and delivering a 0–60 mph time of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. While Ferrari heavily promoted its F1 automated manual gearbox during this period, the traditional open gated six-speed manual transmission remained available to those who knew what they wanted. Only a very small percentage of buyers chose it, a decision that has shaped how these cars are regarded today.

With just 69 right-hand drive manual examples delivered, the 575M manual marks the end of an era for Ferrari. A large capacity naturally aspirated V12 paired with a proper manual gearbox is a combination that has become deeply significant to enthusiasts and collectors, not simply because of its rarity but because it delivers a driving experience that Ferrari no longer offers.

Despite its performance, the 575M remains a remarkably usable grand tourer. It is refined, comfortable and effortless over distance, yet when paired with the manual gearbox, it becomes a far more engaging and rewarding car to drive.

Delivered and first registered via Maranello Ferrari in April 2003, this example is superbly specified and beautifully maintained. It is fitted with the highly desirable six-speed manual gearbox and the sought after Fiorano Handling Package, which transforms the driving experience through revised suspension with lower and stiffer springs, a thicker anti roll bar, uprated brakes and revised wheel geometry.

Finished in elegant Grigio Alloy, the car presents superbly. It sits on its original five spoke 18 inch alloy wheels and is supplied with a fitted red Ferrari indoor car cover. Within the last two years the paintwork has benefitted from professional detailing and ceramic coating as part of a wider exterior refresh, helping to preserve its finish.

The interior is trimmed in dark blue leather and features optional factory fitted Daytona sports seats. The door cards, dashboard and seats are all finished in matching deep blue leather, complemented by deep blue carpets with matching overmats. Equipment includes electric seats with two memory functions for the driver, electric windows and mirrors, air conditioning and the original Becker sound system with six CD changer. A Parrot hands free system has also been installed. Importantly, the common issue of sticky buttons has been resolved with replacement switches fitted by Ferrari, meaning all controls present in excellent condition. A recent interior refurbishment and refresh has further enhanced the cabin. The original Ferrari toolkit in its tan leather folder and the original Ferrari inflation kit are both present.

The most recent major service was completed by Ferrari specialist Bob Houghton in November 2025 at a cost exceeding £13,000. This included a comprehensive cambelt service along with the replacement of both front shock absorbers, ensuring the car is fully up to date and ready to be enjoyed immediately. In addition, a further £7,750 has been spent within the last two years on exterior and interior refurbishment work, leaving the car in exceptional condition throughout.

With its highly desirable specification, elegant colour combination and comprehensive service history, this 575M is both beautifully presented and mechanically sorted. For the enthusiast or collector seeking one of the last truly analogue V12 Ferraris, it represents a compelling and increasingly sought-after opportunity.
