The 550 is often considered Ferrari’s return to the true front engine, rear wheel drive Grand Touring car and the spiritual successor to the mighty Daytona. Whilst the toquey V12, 6 speed manual gearbox and roomy cockpit ensured it was a GT car in the truest sense, it also proved its sports car pedigree with success on the track. Nero is an unusual colour that suits the 550 shape well, and the Biscuit interior makes for a great combination. A LHD example that has lived most of its life in Belgium, it has an extensive service history including a recent cambelt change by Maranello Brussels. A smart, well looked after example of a Ferrari whose true value is finally being appreciated.
