1961 Austin-Healey 3000 MKII

A well restored LHD BT7 with a Works Hardtop

Destined for export to the USA, chassis HBT 16625 was built in November 1961, arriving in Texas in early 1962. An exceptionally straight example of the great Austin-Healey 3000, it was restored in the early 1990s with little but continuous use since then. Standing on chrome wire wheels, it presents very well indeed and following a thorough service since its recent repatriation this Healey is certainly one of the better 3000’s we have driven. A triple carb example with overdrive, the Old English White hard top gives it a purposeful stance and we think it’s a perfect example to initially use as is before developing for historic rally events.
