1954 Aston Martin DB 2/4

Six Time Carrera Panamericana Veteran

Prepared for the gruelling Carrera Panamericana, chassis LML/824 is an impressive rally car. Converted from a standard road car in 1989 by Jim Stokes Workshops, it was in the hands of Carol Spagg that the Aston achieved regular success, winning its class four times with a highest overall placing of 7th. Back in Europe, LML/824 continued to rally, competing in events including the Tour de France, Circuit of Ireland Rally and Tour Britannia. The late 3 Litre engine has had numerous appropriate performance upgrades including a Phoenix crankshaft and con-rods, breathing through Webber 45 carburettors. Other such rally essentials, including a trip meter, full roll cage, fire extinguisher system, Sparco competition seats, 5 point harness and intercom are all in place.  This proven thoroughbred is ideal for numerous events such as the Mille Miglia, Tour Auto and Rome-Liege-Rome.
