1964 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint

A highly eligible car with period racing history

Built in June 1964, this is one of less than 2000 1300 Sprints produced between 1963-65, and being a late car it benefits from factory fitted front disc brakes. It is thought to have been raced from new, with previous FIA papers referencing the 1965 Rally of Spa and the 1967 Zandvoort Nordsee Cup. It has been raced throughout Europe since the 1990s in the hands of previous owners including Hans Schütt and David Hart.

In 2017 over €10,000 was spent on the Alfa Romeo by the current owner to update and re-prepare the car for historic racing.  As such, it is presented with current ‘Period F’ FIA HTP papers valid until 2027. This expenditure included  fully rebuilding its period correct 1600cc Nord engine which is now just one race old.

Presented with an excellent history file documenting all work undertaken, along with current and Previous FIA/HTP papers and images of the car through the years. Eligible for a wide range of events from the Tour Auto to Carol Spagg’s Pre-63 GT series, this lovely example is on the button and ready to go.
