1959 Jaguar XK150 Fixed Head Coupe

Perfect for European adventures.

The XK150 – more comfort, more power. With greater cockpit space, including much needed leg-room, made for the most comfortable of the XK range and best suited for long distance touring.

The beautiful Fixed Head Coupe we have with us in our showrooms is a very well prepared car. Originally exported to the USA, it was repatriated in 1997. Between 2000 and 2002 it was completely restored. The body was stripped to bare metal and repainted in the current deep Indigo Blue. Every last component was attended to.

The current owner bought the XK in 2009, and immediately set about upgrading the car to his own specification. His intention was to build an XK that he could comfortably, and safely, tour Europe in with the utmost reliability, whilst also having the option of entering the occasional competitive event. Upgrades include:

  • 5 Speed Gearbox
  • Electronic Ignition
  • Bucket Seats
  • Electronic power steering
  • Colour coded, 72 spoke wire wheels
  • Full ‘Polybush’ suspension rebuild
  • Alloy header tank
  • Uprated brake servo
  • Lightened & balanced flywheel
  • Balanced propshaft and universal joints

This is by no means the comprehensive list, but gives you an idea as to the extent of the work put into getting the XK absolutely right. Complete with a FIVA passport and a very well documented invoice file, this is a really impressive XK Jaguar.

Perfect for European adventures for considerably less than the build cost today.
