1969 Porsche 911T

FIA Race Car

Built as a US market car, chassis 119121833 was delivered to Porsche Cars Pacific Inc and sold in March of that year.

Today, it is no longer a West Coast cruiser but a stripped-out race car. When David Dennet of DSD Motorwerks in Essex acquired the car, although it had been raced regularly for some years, he wanted to rebuild it to his own specification. Engine components were ordered from his preferred supplier in Reno, USA and he built the engine ‘in house’. Built with JE pistons, an S spec cam and numerous other tweaks, the rolling road shows a strong 180BHP.

A full roll cage has been fitted, along with two race seats with harnesses. A Limited Slip Diff helps maintain traction, and it sits on FUCHS wheels with new Pirelli Cinturato’s. The gearshift is a WEVO system to ensure accurate changes, with a fully plumbed in extinguisher system. Dennet went on to race the Porsche, including at Spa, proving it to be a fast and reliable racing car.

HTP papers were issued in 2016, with the current owner both circuit racing and road-rallying (Rally of Portugal) last year. It is currently registered in France, but has been previously UK registered. A fast, well sorted racing Porsche 911T that is as suited to the road as it is to the track.
